| Alex is beginning to realize that there is more to
life than sleeping and eating, and every now and then he has an awake
period of about an hour. He has not really figured out yet what the
best time is for his awake period, and sometimes he chooses not only
to pleasure us with his alertness in the middle of the night, but also
to demand attention in an unmistakable way.
Fortunately, he is mostly awake when we are awake as well, so we can
spend time playing with him, showing him brightly colored things
around the house, or let him watch our faces. So far, Alex has been a good and also quite amusing baby. He is good because he only cries when he is hungry or wet. Sometimes he cries when he wants to be close to someone, probably because he likes the warmth and the motions. He is amusing because he makes lots of funny noises. Even when he is asleep, he still letting us know he is there by sighs, grunts and moans, especially when he is waking up. Alex is also very entertaining to listen to when he is eating.. |
