Smile!

Alex was in a smiley mood last monday. Fortunately, his grandpa Dan was around with a camera to capture some of his smiles on film!

Alex is on a roll!

Alex has achieved a major milestone. Today (1/23) he rolled from his stomach onto his back. He usually does not like to be on his stomach, and he puts a lot of energy into moving arms and legs. But so far that happened in a rather uncoordinated way, but today he managed to push himself up high with his arms, and then he toppled over. It was not a very graceful way to to roll over, but he managed it nonetheless!

More and more often, Alex is giving us a chance to get a good night's sleep. Over the past week, he slept through the night three times, from eleven o'clock at night to seven o'clock in the morning! How invigorating! We are hoping he will soon turn this into his regular pattern!

Sadly, Alex appears to be losing his hair, as you can see when you compare the closeups. Who knows what color hair he will get eventually...
