As Grippy has officially reached the seven-month point, he is making
his presence more and more known to everyone. To Cindy, with stronger
kicks and punches, to Rob with the visibly rolling motions of her
belly, and to the rest of the world through Cindy's quite noticeable
stomach, which lands her a seat on the metro on a daily basis.
To the right you can see a picture of Cindy's noticeable stomach, and
also of Rob's, which, despite his empathy, is not as noticeable
(fortunately).
On September 14 Grippy was pestered with high-frequency sound waves for a third time. The reason for this set of sonograms was that on the previous sonograms on July 6 his right kidney was a little large, ``at the upper end of normal'', and the doctor decided to keep an eye on it. Below you see the sonograms when Grippy was 29.5 weeks old. Clockwise from the top left you can see his face in profile, his face from the front, his foot, and his nose and lips.
The sonogram examination revealed that Grippy was growing fast. At 29.5 weeks, he already had the size for a 32-week-old baby, with a length of about 11.5 inches (29cm) and a weight of roughly 4 pounds (1800 g). And thus, on the train, metro or in the elevator, people often ask Cindy if she's due next week!
